Why CCTV is a high value product
Many clients who have CCTV installed, do so after having experienced a seriously unsettling event. The last thing anyone wants is someone entering their space – or worse – violating it. Many security problems take place in homes, businesses or workplaces when no one is watching. That is where we can help.
Our trained experts will help you to design a CCTV system which will cover the highly important areas of your premises. We also provide comprehensive training in the use of your system, to allow you to regain control of your environment. Your new CCTV system will provide a visible deterrent, whilst allowing you to gather high-quality video evidence. This footage may be utilised to identify offenders.
Closed Circuit Television (CCTV)
Closed-circuit television (CCTV) is a popular form of surveillance. It utilises video cameras to transmit signals to a specific destination and/or monitors in a closed network.
Banks, retail outlets and medical commonly use CCTV. It can operate continuously or be activated to monitor particular events/times. CCTV is a popular tool not only for security but also for monitoring the operations of a business, organisation or premises.
When choosing CCTV for security or business needs, the key questions are:
- What kind of camera to use?
- Where to store the images?
- How to monitor and access?
A consultation with GMEC Solutions can determine the answers to these questions, as they depend on many factors including purpose, location and local conditions.
Enjoy the peace of mind of a professionally installed alarm system
With the instances of burglary increasing every year in Australia, you can be assured of complete peace of mind with the ultimate deterrent of our high quality alarm systems, whether you need to secure your home or business, GMEC can meet all your needs with one customised solution.
An important feature of such an alarm system is the siren that emits an 105 decibel warning to the intruder whilst alerting the surrounding area that a crime is in progress. When you are away from your premises, alarm systems can be programmed to send a text message directly to your chosen device to alert you of any alarm activation. With an integrated alarm system you can then view your premises remotely via your device or choose to have us do so to determine if the activation requires further attention.
Once GMEC installs our high-quality alarm systems, individual customers can choose the option of ongoing monitoring for as little as $1.00 a day. When opting for this value added service, your alarm system will be connected to our monitoring station, which receives signals that report the conditions of the area being monitored. We will attend alarm activations on your behalf when required.
Sensors are devices which detect movement and trigger an alarm when activated. GMEC install a full range of sensors including movement, vibration or heat sensors (pet friendly) depending on your requirements.
The alarm panel is the brain behind the whole security system. Panels (or controllers) receive information from sensors and process this into a code that alerts the monitoring station about any part of the monitored area where intrusion occurs. There are many modules which can be connected into alarm panels catering for the best options for your particular requirements.
